Zero Waste Management
Sri Prasad Kumar, President, Moodbidri TMC presided over the Workshop Programme on Zero Waste Management for the various educational institutions of Moodbidri. IQAC, Amateur Astronomers' Club in association with Pilikula Regional Science Centre, Mangalore jointly organised a 5 Days Webinar on Astronomy and Space from 20th December 2021 to 24th December 2021. 1) Mr. Atul Bhat, Associate Professor of Physics, Poornaprajna College, Udupi spoke on the topic 'Blackholes and their Invisible Beauty' 2) Dr. B.R.Guruprasad, Scientist, Science Communicator & Public Relations Professional, Former Associate Director(PR), ISRO was the resource person for the Day 2 of the Webinar. He delivered a talk on 'Mangalyaan' 3) Dr. Chandrashekhar Shetty T., Associate Professor of Physics, St. Aloysius College, Mangalore was the resource person for the Day 3 of the Webinar who spoke on the topic 'Spacecrafts of Magnificent India' 4) Prof. Venkatesh Bhat, Associate Professor of Physics, Vijaya College, Mulky was the resource person for the Day 4 of the Webinar. He gave a talk on 'Solar System' 5) Mr. H.N. Madhusudhana, Former Director, BEA & Associate Scientific Secretary, ISRO was the resource person for the 5th Day of the Webinar. He delivered a talk on 'Space Applications for National Development'
